TREKKING IN ITALY

My name is Gianluca Marzano, International Mountain Leader (UIMLA) and proud member of the Alpine Guides College of Lombardy. These qualifications officially recognize my skills both in Italy and abroad, ensuring the highest professional standards in trekking guiding.

I was born and raised in Lombardy, and today I divide my time between Rome and Legnano (near Milan). Since childhood, the mountains have been my natural playground and my lifelong passion. Over the years, I have explored both the Alps and the Central Apennines, learning to appreciate not only the landscapes, but also the traditions, history, and culture that make each trail unique.

As a professional mountain leader, I lead individuals, couples, families, and groups through some of Italy’s most stunning and authentic routes. From multi-day treks in the Alps to hikes among central Italy’s Appennines, I design experiences that go beyond simple walking. Every itinerary is tailored to combine breathtaking nature with the stories and identity of the places we explore.

What sets me apart is the combination of international certification, deep local knowledge, and genuine passion. I don’t just guide hikers through the terrain, my goal is to turn every trek into an unforgettable adventure, where travelers feel both challenged and inspired, and leave with a deeper connection to Italy.
